Its been a lovely hot day for once in the UK so be prepared for some nakedness at the start of the show! Matt kicks off with a story about OpenSSL being made optional in OpenSSH and both the lads agree it's very good, well it is! Will XP ever die? we hear about Microsoft issuing an emergency patch for Windows XP even though officially they no longer support it. Remember Pete saying Mozilla is evil? Well he gets a chance to say it again with this story about Mozilla and the adoption of DRM support. Oh and by the way the guy's name Pete tries to remember is Chris McAvoy. Why not drop him a line asking him where his morals are now? ;-)
If you're squeamish I'd look away now if I was you! Karou has started to bring little gifts home to brighten up the family home.
It began in South Africa
Hands up who remembers the much vaunted Ubuntu on Android? Well it's another project that's fallen to the cost cutting going on at Canonical Towers. Fancy an Orange? Yep the boys talk about the new Ubuntu Orange box but is it Ubuntu's? After clawing over the specifications Pete and Matt are not impressed with the costs or for that matter the supposed usage.
South London Makerespace
Matt tells us how on the plus side membership is growing really fast but the downside is they have to find a new home fast!
The Skills Matter eXchange
The forum is down! Matt has no idea when he will fix it, in fact he's not sure he wants to. :-(
